Family and fairness

Review equity and rewards

Use shared information to discuss workload and recognition without reducing family life to a score.

Interpret the view carefully

Use the equity view as a conversation starter. Time, difficulty, invisible work, age, and ability may not be represented equally by simple counts or weights.

Make fair adjustments

  1. Review the time period and included work.
  2. Ask household members for context.
  3. Adjust assignments or weights when they do not reflect reality.
  4. Revisit the outcome after the next cycle.
